We are Fresco Flowers, Specialists in Rose Processing Since 2005
Fresco Flowers is a leading player in the processing and supply of imported roses at the auction clocks of Royal FloraHolland. We currently represent around 12 Kenyan rose growers. These growers send their entire rose production daily by air freight to our processing facility in Aalsmeer.
Our mission is to consistently and reliably provide as many customers as possible with top-quality roses every day.

We Work with Top Growers!
The farms that collaborate with Fresco Flowers are all located in Kenya. This country offers nearly ideal conditions for growing roses due to its proximity to the equator. The constant climate, with 12 hours of sunlight per day and moderate temperatures, ensures stable growing conditions throughout the year. These natural advantages make Kenya one of the largest players in global rose exports.
We Oversee the Entire Process, from Flight to Sale
Once the roses arrive in the Netherlands by refrigerated flight from Kenya, they are received by our freight agent and transported directly to our location in Aalsmeer. A carefully planned and efficient production process ensures the daily processing of the roses. They are unpacked from transport boxes and repacked onto auction buckets, making them ready for sale the next day.
Our quality team conducts continuous checks to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. Additionally, temperature recordings are monitored during transport to guarantee freshness. In short, at Fresco Flowers, you can count on top quality every day!
From Kenya, Directly to Our Location. Only the Best.
Quality control begins right at the farms in Kenya. Fresco's quality team works closely with the teams of all the farms we collaborate with. Using our quality control app, PlantScout, we can easily and efficiently monitor the quality of the flowers.
Sustainability
At Fresco Flowers, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. As pioneers in the industry, we were among the first to introduce recycled packaging, taking an important step towards a more sustainable future. Additionally, we have completely eliminated single-use cardboard. Instead, we exclusively use reusable crates, which not only significantly reduce waste but also contribute to a more efficient and environmentally friendly process. In this way, we continue to focus on sustainable solutions within the flower industry.
